I ordered the same timer 2 years ago. and I liked it, now I've ordered a few more for my restaurant. They have the same name and almost the same color. But it's clear to me. This company changed the product. They are absolutely terrible. I live in Chile South America. No time to fuss or send them all back. Which will cost me a lot more than the cost of the timers. So I will never buy this product again.

POS timer. I bought it because of the placement of the magnet. It works much better than the old model that plugged into the front of my oven, but that's where the preferences end. The new maker of the old timer added an on/off feature where the old timer controlled the volume, high or low, for the alarm. The new switch feature is terrible: the timer resets in the middle of an already set time, fails to turn it on after turning it off, and doesn't exit idle mode many times when it's on again…

This timer is TERRIBLE. The start/stop button has to be pressed, otherwise it won't work. It doesn't chirp when you start the timer, so you'll have to watch it for a second to make sure it actually starts. I pushed the button and quickly did something else, only to find after a few minutes that it hadn't started. You can't hold down the minute or second buttons to count quickly, you have to press them 60 times in an hour. And today it was faulty for the 4th time since I bought it 4 months ago…

The least popular of the three timers I've ordered from Revain. Low-contrast buttons with no audio feedback limited to minutes and seconds, manual on/off which could be a feature if it were easier to control, somewhat annoying adjustment to a longer count, and easy recording. Pretty loud, has big numbers, and keeps the last setting for repeating intervals. The timer works well but there are some features that need improvement. All three buttons on the front of the timer are light blue, as is the label on each button. This makes them very difficult to spot. A button is labeled M for minutes, S for seconds, and ST/SP for stop/start. I bought one of these in October 2016 because I needed a loud timer with an easy to read display. It wasn't very loud and broke in November, but I couldn't find a suitable replacement so I ordered another one. He died in February 2017. Same problem so I ordered another one. This lasted about a year and a half. I have ten year old timers that still work great. Other people must have had better luck with quality control. I don't understand why it's "Choice Revain". This timer has a loop on the back so that You can thread a chain through it and wear it around your neck. It has a stand that you can slide out from the back to set it upright.
