Works but rest assured it's exactly what you need

Passive PoE so it only adds power and you still need a second set of ethernet cables from this box to the switch/hub. Doesn't reduce cable clutter like I was hoping, so I went back to a "real" PoE switch.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Reliable

Great product - great customer service

Purchased to avoid noisy PoE network switches. It works great, although it has a feature (no bug) to always provide power over ethernet and bypass the auto-detection that usually occurs in a PoE switch. Printer ports, beware! Also, I had a customer who claimed that one of them didn't work. It's not, but these guys were incredibly helpful and responsive. The best customer service.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Very Economical

12 POE Upgrade Ports - Works with our Avaya/Cisco IP Phones and Netgear Wireless Access Points with POE. Surpasses replacing switches with other POEs until the next upgrade and extends the lifecycle of existing switching devices.

Pros
  • Great Choice
Cons
  • Damaged

Works great!: Networking products

We bought this to power Cisco 1131AG access points for our church's WiFi network. Worked great out of the box. Low cost POE solution for 100BT devices. Update 2/19/17 - Its power supply failed after a little over 2 years of continuous use. Now buy 48V DC 2.5A PS for replacement.

Pros
  • even understand old fashioned ones
Cons
  • Factor set

Outstanding production. Uses little power and works great.

If you are looking for a POE injector to connect multiple IP cameras, this product is for you. Consumes less power than a POE switch in my experience.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some small things

I have installed many of these and the seller is GREAT. Fast shipping and quality product. Well built and only takes up 1U in a rack. I love the RJ45 pass-through design. It would be ideal if they offered it as an RJ45 on the back of the device. But they work great just the way they are! I will keep buying them for POE phones wherever I install them! GREAT

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Interval

Excellent Network Adapters

I previously had 12 POE CCTV cameras connected to a Brocade PoE switch. The switch overheated and heated up the server room very much. I mainly used this switch to reduce the load on the PoE switch. As an added benefit, this injector generates MUCH less heat than a Brocade PoE switch. The power supply (brick) of this device is massive. What you see in the picture is scaled compared to the switch. So this not only solved my problem but also fixed something else that I wasn't expecting. Excellent

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Medium
