Description of WTB Convict 27 5 Tough High

Meaty and robust, the Convict is the ideal tire for downhill enthusiasts. Wide, blocky knobs till through loose, rocky terrain while also increasing braking traction. Prominent outer knobs extend over the edge of the tire to provide additional sidewall protection. Provides steadfast traction both front and rear, while it also pairs nicely to a Vigilante on the rear. 1239g. TCS - Tubeless Compatible System.

Unstoppable MTB Tyres for Adventure Junkies!

I recently tried out a pair of heavy-duty mountain bike tyres for my weekend rides. As a result of using these tyres, I found that they offered the ultimate in grip and toughness. They are perfect for tackling technical trails safely and confidently. I love how they absorb most of the bumps and rocks on the trail. The only downside is that they are quite heavy which can make uphill climbs a bit more challenging. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys Sports and

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting for tough mountain biking trails.
Cons
  • May require a higher budget compared to other similar tires on the market.

Very good grip and wear (so far).

Drive in front and sit in the back. I didn't have much luck with the WTB tires when going fast because they just wore out too quickly. This one seems to wear better. I am very impressed with its handling and grip on the wet and sticky surfaces we are currently facing. If it continues to wear well then I think it's a good investment.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Almost never

Magic Mary clutch with improved roll off and durability

Thing is a beast by the weight but boy does it last. You'll really notice that these tires have no dead zones and lay perfectly on the road at any lean angle. I've also found these tires hold Stan's air on my I9 Enduro 305 and Enve M70HV better than any tire I've ever used. As said, the case is rigid. I weigh about 240 pounds and run these tubeless models with 23-25 front pressure. I'm surprised the rolling resistance isn't as terrible as one might expect. I don't take this comparison lightly…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
