WTB TCS Rim Tape - 30mm x 11m Roll (W095-0001) Review

2 rims glued together for the first time. Watched and made video. Overlap the stem bore 3-4 inches on each side. Best results when used 12-16 inches, pull tight, apply evenly, repeat until done. Cut a hole for the stem. Move slowly and confidently and you should be fine.

Mounted on the WTB frequency band. Inner width 25mm. This was my first tubeless rim tape installation and I had no problems.

This tape was the toughest tubeless rim tape I have ever installed. Tips: You will need to pull VERY hard to get it into the contour of the WTB rim and it's a good idea to leave the tape in the sun for a while if doing it in cold weather.

I tried using a different tape for my WTB TCS i25 drives but it didn't work for me. I installed this wtb band and wallah! Perfection. Fit and function are amazing. My tires are stuck! I highly recommend this tape for WTB discs only. I assume it will work with other tubeless compatible rims as well.

Did not stick. Inflexible so it won't stick to a solid strip. Wrinkled left. Doesn't close itself when overlapped at the end. I was looking for a flex tape from WTB and thought it might work better but couldn't find it on their website.

For the past 3 years I've tried different tapes to tune my tubeless wheels. The WTB TCS rim tape is the best I've ever seen. It's thick enough not to tear but thin enough to fit inside the rim and center channel and seal well. It's not too expensive and easy to work with.

This tape has very little stretch and is difficult to conform to the inside of the rim contour. It's like packing tape. But even worse, it kept shrinking as I put it on and took it off the roll.
