What you would expect from a Wustoff knife, instantly sharp. Just hand wash them, don't put them in the dishwasher as the red logo will come off sooner rather than later.

Great gift. The recipient is still amazed by the sharpness of the knife. I like the fork too. Good pen weight. ease of use and maintenance. Worth the price. Nicely packaged, fast delivery.

This set was purchased for use with prime ribs and didn't perform as well. I expected it to fry like butter, but it didn't. I had to work on it. I spent a lot of money on them and what a disappointment.

All my favorite Wüsthof kitchen knives and this set is no exception. We needed a new carving knife (the old one was a cheap one someone gave us and we ended up giving up) so I bought this set as a Christmas present for my husband. He tried it that night at a celebratory rib roast and it worked great. Ideal!

I'm a big fan of the Wüsthof brand and have enjoyed my other purchases. This knife was a bit of a disappointment for me as it is not as sharp as their other knives. After carving 2 turkey breasts and a small ham, it needed sharpening. Sure, it's a little better than my kitchen gadget and Henkle knife, but I was expecting a little more.

I received a chef's knife and a paring knife as a gift and immediately sold them for these knives. The Classic line is strong, has the perfect weight and fits perfectly in the hand. They're comfortable, beautiful, and incredibly sharp. Before each use, I use a suitable sharpening steel for all knives except the bread knife. I found a Wüsthof knife set at a hardware store the other day. The price was steel (ha ha) and I was so excited that I went in search of more. They knew what they were doing as they left empty slots in the included knife block. It turns out I've been looking for a good meat fork for a while and found this set at a decent price. I've seen a knife sold on its own for a higher price, so after some controversy I went with it. I finally used this rib eye kit tonight and let me tell you. like butter.
