My two cats are 7-8 pounds and they had plenty of room in these carriers. The zippers are very strong and good, not cheap vinyl zippers. I really like being able to open multiple avenues. The ground was very studied and they were not afraid and a solid foundation remained. Nice on the cover that I don't have to bring a towel or blanket. Worked great for her vet trip. Highly recommended.

I attached it to a homemade booster from a stearalite container and connected it to the LATCH system in the car. Plenty of zippered entry/exit strips for easy access. Drove 3,000 miles and the 7 pound dog was able to stick his head out or go to sleep. Easy side entry and exit. Keeps the dog in a safe place, not all over the car. It just took some getting used to staying seated until I got into the back seat to let her out.

When I first bought this carrier it could be unfolded at the sides. My cat loved to ride in the car and even "slept" in it with the front left open. It had an accident on a long drive so we had to throw out the old one and order a new one thinking it would be the same. No display it lacks, but the material inside is the same. I wouldn't use it for vet visits because it's quite thin, but it's good for comfortable, supervised travel.

First I had to understand that the person delivered this to the wrong house. I physically walked through my neighborhood trying to find a porch that matched the photo. For a real product!
