insane cost of the product.

transition from GXP to this one. I was speechless, it's calmer to drive all together. easier installation. I used to remove the handle with the pedal and couldn't press the pedal, I ripped it off too much. To my surprise, this crank was smoother and better than the Shimano GXP. I will update if anything bad happens to me.

Perfect fit, excellent Crank & BB quality!

Wow! Beautifully crafted crank and high quality outer bearing (BB30) bottom bracket; Replaced the original Shimano squeak kit from the 2013 Trek 4300. I removed the stars (22-32-42T) from the old grip; installed them on the new crank - voila! No more noise and the chain ensures perfect/clear shifting. Prestigious; will buy again!

  • Easy installation

Very important! - Transmission Components

This is a solid budget connecting rod. It's quite light, strong and equipped with a Hollowtec 2 type bottom bracket. The only problem is that the bottom bracket that comes with it is downright cheap. The bearings sounded a bit crispy when I installed it, but as I drove it a few miles the bearings improved. However, a brand new brand bottom bracket from my bike shop cost me $15.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Surprisingly durable

I was very hesitant to buy a cheap crankset for my mountain bike as it could be very catastrophic if these things failed while riding. They have endured well over 70 miles of hard driving. I liked them so much I bought another kit to upgrade another bike with Shimano Tourney gear. The only complaint I have is that the included bottom bracket is cheap, although it has held up well on rides, the crankset didn't go all the way through one side of the bottom bracket during installation and had to…

Pros

Cons
  • Price that breaks the piggy bank

Good value two piece connecting rod

I bought this set when converting to 1x and it's holding up great! Price. Not exactly light, but they're definitely lighter than the 3x cranks I threw away. As expected, the bottom bracket mounts easily. I use Lucas Oil white lithium grease on the threads to make the process easier and also on the spindle. down the slope. It's a little heavy for enduro riding, but as a general-purpose four-bolt crankset, it gets the job done for a decent price. Recommend? based. All mountains: Yes. Street: Yes.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Available in white only

Good first impression

This is a first review. Today I received and installed this crank and bottom bracket in place of my old broken square bar mountain bike bottom bracket that I didn't want to invest a lot of money in. At $42 PLUS the $9 tool I didn't have, it was an affordable "upgrade" (we'll see) when I was looking for a bottom bracket replacement anyway. It appears to be well made, with high quality forging and machining, while being light in weight compared to the old set. Really amazing what you get at this…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Great connecting rod, beautiful look, unbeatable price.

-Update 2 - The bottom bracket finally started humming so after 1.5 years and over 400 miles I switched to a Shimano m8000 bb. The grips worked great and I was back to work in less than an hour. It amazes me what is available at reasonable prices these days. For less than half what my friends say I had to spend to ride well, I put a new, nice, seemingly functional bottom bracket and crank into service. It weighs about the same as my riding friends bikes and the single or dual linkage option is…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some flaws

Cheap, high quality, loud!

How are you KevCentralites?! Obviously we're all looking at them here because they're a cheap way to replace the stamped/riveted 3x setup you had on your cheap/old bike. Of course, they're Chinese alloy, and the machining marks don't bode well, but they'll work, right? That is my experience! While it seems odd that they chose to anodize the crank before completing the mounting surfaces, the cranks hold up pretty well to the abuse on my local trails. The levers have withstood some hard kicking…
