Not suitable for cutting 'grit' grout

Thought I could replace 6 12" x 12" floor tiles with these. The half-round carbide blade was worn 2 tile edges (24""). Probably very useful for pointing grout in shower stalls etc. Just not right for my job.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Empty

Very shallow depth of cut

Bought for removing grout and possibly cutting tile or 2. I'm having an issue with cutting depth or size when using these blades on a porter cord tool. The tool itself is wider than the blades so the body of the tool becomes a depth gauge before it touches the work surface. Requires larger blades.

  • Great for outdoor activities

My second favorite Dremel tool

Over the years of using jigsaws, saws, grinders, grinders and band saws I have found this tool to fill the gaps when a quick fix is needed for small jobs . It is designed not to create dust that flies into the air. As well made as most other professional tools you'll find on the market, I'm using it more and more when working on projects from masonry to steel to wood to drywall and more.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Negative impression

An excellent tool, the best in Power & Hand Tools

I had to replace the tiles in the kitchen. This tool made my job a lot easier. The grout and tile grout are broken like Armageddon grout. Once the tile was lifted I was able to easily remove the tile that was glued to the wood. I saw a guy on U-Tube showing how to do this job with chisels. Y. if you do it like that, then you are a chisel head. Too much work for an old man like me. Use these tools and work smarter, not harder.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Protection

Not suitable for removing grout

They are either too thick or too small to remove grout from shower tiles. The rounded blade is too small in diameter and does not protrude far enough from the vibrating tool (see photo) to penetrate crevices or corners. Another photo shows that the blade purchased from Home Depot is much larger than the similar XXGO. Also, the side view photo shows that the XXGO blade is much thicker than the diamond tipped blade (also purchased from Revain). My tile gap was smaller than the XXGO blade and so I

Very happy with the price and the quality

I am very happy with this purchase. I have a Fein and DeWalt oscillating tool. Fine is fine (pun intended), but using it around the pool has already given me a boost, so I'm sticking with wireless for now. The grout rasp that came with Fein is great, but it didn't quite match DeWalt so I ordered this set. Chance. Boy am I glad I did. It's actually faster than what I used. He does a great job with the grouting. I would advise you not to use it on the surface of one pool tile as it is sharper…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Frequency

Works as advertised, saved me tons of time.

Used with Rockwell RK5151k / Sonicrafter F80. The pieces worked great, the contractor completely messed up the Saltillo tile installation (ruined it enough to deserve a capital). Everything from gaps in the grout to mounds in the grout and what I love most is grout all over the tile. Then he left it for a week while I was away. I'm in chaos again. Then he hollowed out some tiles and tried to remove excess mortar. I used them to level the grout, remove large chunks on the tile, and smooth out…

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Obsolete

Not all solutions are easily accessible.

According to Smith House, they don't allow for deep cuts, making it even more difficult to get into those hard-to-reach places. I have a long line of grout in my kitchen that runs under the top of the cabinet. None of these would have worked for me because I had to use the tool on its side so the blades barely protrude past the tool and do virtually nothing to remove the grout. If you can point the tool's nose exactly at what you're working on, that's effective, and making it a bit bigger would
