Good ring integration - no issues after 10 months

This was my first smart lock and so far I'm happy with the results. The lock integrates well with the ring ecosystem, which is a huge bonus. I can use the Ring app to check the lock status and lock it remotely. I'll admit that sometimes I check before bed and save myself the horror of getting up. Great ZW+ lock for SmartThings. High-quality materials.

Great lock! Fast lock and unlock, lots of features that are easy to set up and look good. The coating is fairly scratch resistant two months after installation. Z-Wave communication with SmartThings is fairly fast, not the fastest but within 1-2 seconds of commands. I use a dedicated RBoy SmartLock app and a generic device handler and it worked fine after the handler played for an hour and enabled/disabled each feature once. Worth what you invest to buy it.

I got this for several reasons: 1) I'm trying to turn it into a smart home (has this and an Ecobee thermostat, light is next on the list). 2) One of my roommates keeps losing keys, so keyless entry was an advantage. 3) We've done housework including installing central air conditioning and replacing windows so it's great for contractors to access the house.
