Excellent Welding Torch

This was just what I needed when my wire feed switch broke, the original didn't have a spare switch. So I took a chance and was not disappointed. Fast delivery and easy installation. I like a few extra feet of range on this line and my previous one felt short at times.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Almost Fine

Replacement Welding Torch for Clark MIG

Straightforward, easy replacement for my worn out MIG torch. Softer trigger than my old gun, but maybe that's because the original gun was 12 years old and had miles of wires. I just wish the gas tube was 12 inches longer. Good price, good product. I recommend this product.

  • New
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Good replacement gun

I bought this gun to replace the Harbor Freight gun on my arc welder in Chicago. I like that it's a few feet longer than the one that comes with it. The brass gas valve is definitely an upgrade. My only complaint is that the trigger is harder to pull, which I guess will take some getting used to. Overall a pretty good product at a reasonable price.

Great replacement. - MIG Welder

This was a quick replacement for my Harbor Freight 110 Dual Mig Welder #94164. It was quick and easy. I had to replace 2 ends of the wire to fit my connectors and cut the metal conductor. Using a cutting wheel on a grinder, cut the wire insert and sand it smooth. Then use a small drill to clean up any internal burrs. A very nice replacement.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some small things

Expect gas leaks, suitable for filler wire

expect gas leaks in gun trigger valve. 4 x 2.5mm The Clark 180en was supplied with a 4mm OD Spiralflex nylon/plastic gas line. Replacement parts for my original Clark pistol.

Pros
  • great for a small house
Cons
  • expensive

Disappointed but not back!

The best thing about this gun is the price. The power cord was too short I had to find another way, the release cords were too short and I had to lengthen them. The gas tube was too long, as was the liner. It took about an hour longer than it should have. For instructions I also googled the HTP welder who also makes replacements for the Chicago Electric 180 Mig. The gun is small, suitable for people with small hands and bone spurs, a little humor. The good news is that I succeeded. Also, it's…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Updated my old mig welder!

I have a very old Astro-Power 110 Powermig made in Italy. It can only be used as a gas welder and not as a flux wire because it uses a single wire torch. The torch got pretty ragged so I decided to try a mod. This two wire torch has added versatility and durability to my 30 year old machine. In the first photo you can see that the torch wires are set up for cored wire welding. The positive wire was slightly shorter than the + (in the photo it is connected to -) so I had to solder it. The wire…

Not plug and play, much better than the original, worth $36 yes.

It's definitely better than the original, but it's not plug n play. You will need to cut the supply hose and gas hose to fit. Use sharp knives. That's easy. The positive line fits perfectly into the positive pole on the machine. Before you begin trimming, make sure you have fully inserted the gun cover and seated the bushing. The 2 pin connector is useless, cut the wires next to the connector to give you some length. Then find a 4-pin connector with 2 small blue wires and a blue and red large…

  • Welding and Soldering
Cons
  • So far so good

Chicago Electric 68886 180Amp Machine

Fits my discontinued Chicago Electric 68886 180Amp Welder. I had to cut off about 14 inches of the liner. The insert is slightly larger in diameter than the original. However, the main power cable is too short to fit through the original hole. I unclipped the corners of the "+" sign above the terminal's red handle and slipped it in there. In general, installation is not difficult. About 30 minutes. It wasn't difficult to connect two wires to control the wire feed. It has a different nozzle than
