Interesting product

I haven't used it much, the device doesn't fit my face very well. The rubber feels soft but doesn't fit me. However, this item is very light and if like me you have back problems this may be for you. I would only use for TIG as the protective cover is much smaller than the hood. The quality of the lenses seems excellent, I would say that this is the best view of the sweat puddle, better than my favorite Lincoln 3350 helmet and the view through the lens is more believable than the Lincoln…

Good helmet with slow bad sensors.

I'll start with the merits of this helmet. It's definitely easy. The headband is good. The field of view is very good despite being small and the color of the lenses is great. The mask covers the face well and has a low profile, that's the whole point. Now for the cons. Damn sensors. There is a noticeable lag in the auto dimming feature. Approximately half a second elapses between the start of the welding arc and the activation of the automatic dimming. If you can see it with the human eye…

BAD REVIEWS>>>>READ INSTRUCTIONS!

I have read some bad reviews about this product and some good reviews that outweigh the bad. So I decided to take a chance and if it goes bad I'll just give it back. They work great! That's what I want to say to the bad reviewers. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! If you need to weld some small items from time to time, like me, where the helmet is more clumsy than useful; They will work great. I had to weld some nuts to the plate and it worked amazing. It also comes with an optional lens. I already have…

Poorly made, uncomfortable, avoid

I didn't like them at all. The fit was mediocre, letting air and light through the sides, not enough padding around the face. The nose almost hurts. I seriously doubt they can be worn for more than 15 minutes at a time. The face mask part is very small, much smaller than the online pictures suggest. The worst: automatic dimming didn't work. I have a few more auto-darkening welding helmets and I have 2 different brands. They all basically work in the same way. To test them, I take them in the…

Specific use only in welding helmets

This is a very light product which I think is suitable for getting into hard to reach places in the field, mostly with a stick. However, after going through two of them, I now have a better understanding of the best use. The lens is beautifully clear yet thin, DO NOT DROP. Especially a few stories. There is a way to attach it to a helmet, but that takes a lot of experimentation and you'll certainly have to sacrifice comfort. The rubber gasket they have around everything is, for lack of a better

Fits and works on headgear

Haven't had one in a very long time. The auto-darkening and overall function of these goggles seem pretty good, but the bridge of the nose is poorly designed, fits very poorly, and cuts into the nose. It hurt to leave it on for the first 5 seconds so I can't imagine using it for minutes or hours. I tried taping my glasses and the bridge of my nose, but I still had significant discomfort. I would have sent them back but had already thrown away the packaging so had no choice but to make them…
