The LED strip held up better than I expected. Works well, the only thing I don't like is the shrill noise the battery pack makes when the light is on. Glued on the helmet. They are very bright and definitely improve visibility. Here's what you need to know: when the light is off, the light bars may be a different color. I ordered white bulbs and if you look closely at the product image you will see that when they are off they are pastel pink.
