I really wanted to like this product. I only got this to get an idea of the ambient temperature while driving. The device displays numbers that do not relate to the actual temperature. During the post-Christmas freezing period, you would expect readings to be below freezing. Often times it showed numbers well above freezing, sometimes the temperature outside is higher than inside, most times when I walk past the temperature gauge in the jar the numbers shown are a far cry from 40-50%. Time remains accurate during starts and shutdowns. The temperature readings are usually wrong, probably due to the placement of the sensors, but they were the same as the temperature of the trucks' outer panels. I thought it would run on battery power, but it needs to be plugged into the car cigarette lighter to see the time clearly. Unfortunately, my car still charges when it's off, and if I forget to turn it off I have to start quickly. (I learned that the hard way. in the snow). Watch works well, time/date is accurate. Temperatures are a different story. Since it needs to be in the car, most of us would have it on the dash. This will not work as the sun heats up the device and greatly lowers the internal temperature! The outdoor sensor has such a short cable that it can hardly be pulled out of the car. The device counts time, displays about 0.3V higher than the actual voltage measured by a meter placed in the same place how this device is connected (e.g. battery).
