    Does what it's supposed to do

    This rim tape is of good quality and does what it's supposed to do: keep the rim from blowing out your own tire. I'm only deducting one star because the sizing chart was inaccurate for the 16 inch wheels I bought them for. It's better to measure the width yourself before placing an order.

    Too short for 29 " mountain bike wheels

    I taped this onto a 29" mountain bike wheel. One tape wasn't enough to cover the entire circle and I had to use a second tape, to cover the entire wheel.The description of the length or maximum circumference the band can cover needs to be updated.Using both bands on one wheel essentially doubles the price of the item.

    No more chronic flat tires!

    My 1 year old Trek Verve hybrid bike was constantly having flat tires. Eventually I noticed that most of the punctures were on the inside of the tube facing the spokes. At first I thought maybe I was really bad at installing new tubes; but then I changed the rim tape and my chronic flat tires stopped. Installing the rim tape was very easy and I didn't have to widen the hole to fit the Schrader valve.

    Very strong and will hold the spokes on the wheels of my carriage.

    Very strong and does not let the spokes of my sidecar wheels penetrate the tire. I was even able to use only one roller on both rear tires so I have more when I need to replace them again. However, I see no need for it as it does such a great job. Not only that, it was so easy to put on that I couldn't ask for a better product.

    Good all round tape

    Pretty basic. That's rim tape. Four star rating because it was short. Luckily I built 650B. If I were building a 29er, one of the cutscenes would be short. I was arguing between this and Stan's rim tape. I haven't switched to tubeless, otherwise it wouldn't be an option. In a way, I think I probably should have done it with Stan, and I probably will in the future. The stan is wider and the reel is much longer so you don't have to worry about it being short.     Perfect for mountain bike wheels - also works with Schader valves!

    This is the best rim tape I have ever used. Perfection on all levels, from ease of installation to product quality. I use this on my 26" XC wheels and it fixed the issues I had with the stock plastic crap rim tape. This is perfect for almost all MTB wheels. Wide enough to cover the spoke holes with plenty of room. The adhesive on the tape holds it in place perfectly, but it can be easily removed without leaving a sticky, slimy, melted residue from hot weather riding. , just cut a small cross in

    Good quality rim tape

    I've read reviews that say the rim tape that comes with bikes sucks. After my last apartment I bought a spare inner tube and this rim tape, pulled out the rim tape that came with it and realized what the reviewers were saying. The original rim tapes are actually injected onto the plastic tapes. They appear to cover the heads of the knitting needles, but leave sharp edges and small creases along the ribbon. If your camera is heavily inflated, it can come into contact with these sharp edges…

    Suitable for mountain bike rims, looks heavy enough

    I was struggling with slow leaks and worried that even though I had a good bike I might get a "knock out of my spokes". Leaving with new tires and tubes I decided to give it a try. This is a wider product, perfect for a mountain/comfort bike (26 x 1.50 rim in my case). You can press it into the groove of the rim and it will still have some coverage on the sides. You wouldn't want to use it on a thin rim, that's for sure. Quite heavy but not too heavy and pliable.
