Used on 80 Mercedes Turbo Diesel

If my SO thinks of plugging this in, his engine will start right away, regardless of the outside temperature. He is very happy with this purchase.

Superior Diesel Engine Heater

I am very satisfied with the heating performance of this product. FINALLY my starter could crank my diesel engine in 5 degree weather.

There's a lot to be said for brand loyalty.

I used them when I lived at the North Pole in the late 90's, I haven't seen any quality changes since then. If it could support my old 95 Ram 5.7 running at -42f then it would have to handle the worst the Midwest can throw at it.

Highly recommended under Accessories

Installed this fairing on my 2005 Sprinter. The 5" x 7" gasket ONLY fits the bottom of the oil pan. I used a grinder to get at the bare metal and then rubbed it down with alcohol. The 500W pad gets very hot and works well in VT. Winter. The temperature dropped to 12 degrees, and this week the temperature is expected to be below 0 degrees. Will be updated later. Great addition for cold weather starts. Update: -2 degrees this morning. The truck overturned. (I should also mention that I keep the…
