The best kitchen scissors I have ever owned

The best kitchen scissors I have ever owned. Excellent cut. keep edge. Disassemble for easy cleaning, but never disassemble when using. I liked them so much I bought a second pair.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons

nice and sharp, good for cutlery and knife accessories

These kitchen shears for under $20 are by far the sharpest I've ever used. I'm sorry to say, but they compete with my mother's old Katko. Yes, Cutco is a little bit better, but Jen isn't worth $90 anymore! It also disassembles for easy cleaning. very glad I found this pair. Bought a few other cheap ones and that's all they were.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

After a bad experience I decided to go with.

After a bad experience I decided to only use Japanese, German or American scissors knowing they would be more expensive than Chinese ones. I have to say that so far they have met my highest expectations. Like all these shears, they will last longer if you buy one that can be disassembled and hand washed.

  • Positive only
Cons
  • No paint required

Crazy Sharp for kitchen and dining room

No cons, only pros. They are really sharp and easy to use and clean. They easily cut through sealed packaging (like a knife or razor) to get at the meat. Then they cut the meat like warm butter. They have been in the top rack of the dishwasher but very rarely as they can be disassembled by hand, washed and dried quickly. Unlike some of the longer, cheaper, similar shears I own, ZHEN shears don't rust. You don't get a $20 box to put them in and they don't have a cool name on the side like their…

Best Bang for the Buck

Have you ever tried to cut something with the tips of kitchen scissors made in China? Multi-purpose, all-purpose kitchen scissors are premium, well-made scissors. These scissors can be disassembled for cleaning and sharpening, yes they are meant to be disassembled. The quality is through and through and you can even use the tips of these scissors to cut the thread or use them to separate the chicken. You will not break these scissors and cause them to separate at the junction of the scissors…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Great price for a fantastic pair of scissors.

I bought several Hammer Stahl shears for use in the kitchen and when processing game meat. I liked them so much that I decided to buy more than New Year's gifts (2020), but they were sold out. Glad to find them, looks like they are the company that makes them for Hammer Steel Shears. Comparing them side by side, they appear to be identical except for the branding. They have the same build quality and about half the cost. Japanese branded steel but Taiwanese assembly and packaging. In any case…

Surprisingly wonderful!

I wasn't expecting too much from these scissors, just wanted a good, basic pair for the kitchen. I'm getting old, but my hands don't work! Sometimes you have to use scissors to open the wrappers, but also to cut the bacon in half to fit the pan better (it works better than a knife for this job). I bought a few of these and put them in a drawer thinking I wouldn't need much. But yes! You are really strong. Easy to cut plastic clamshell packaging. They are easy to grab. Will cut raw chicken bones

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Useless features

Big hands, the tightest cut and the best kitchen scissors.

I have very large hands. These fit my hands perfectly. And the handles are not thick. I live with the scissors in the kitchen. I cut/slice mushrooms, tomatoes and olives in a jar. I cook chicken, pork and beef THEN I cut them up with scissors after adding them to the recipe (no waste of juice). Chop the tomatoes (or whatever) even more if you add them to the recipe. They are made in Japan and the loop and blade are very nice and strong. I've had them for almost 2 years and only had to buy…

Surprising for months, now disappointed

I bought these over the summer after reading great reviews as I needed to replace kitchen shears I've had since college (ie at least 15 years old). At first they worked very well. Tough, striped pieces of meat were very easy to cut, as were tender green onions. But after 6 months of meticulous care (kitchen use only, hand wash only and dry after wash) I've found that they don't want to cut anything thin anymore. The thin foil around a chicken fillet takes 3-4 slices, and trying to cut through a
