Zi-Rui 3D Filament Printer Review

It took me a while to get this thread right. On my Robo R1+ I had to turn the retraction off completely or it would accidentally get stuck on or near the nozzle. The line gauge tested at various points on the spool is 1.74-1.81mm. If you look closely at the picture of the thread, you will see that the "grain” is slightly protruding in places. I'm leaving this thread with a 4 star rating, but I'll also let others who are thinking of buying it know about my experience. I bought this to make some color changing mugs (Kickstarter Mythic Mugs) and had a lot of printing issues with this thread. I usually use Hatchbox, so my default printing temperature on my Ender 3 Pro is 200°/60°. I immediately had problems with the first layer. This is an excellent thread depending on what you are using it for. To test all my new filaments I use Ding:1023717 to find basic settings like temperature and print speed. What I've found, which isn't apparent in other reviewers' photos, is that the model with thin vertical walls that have a lot of indentations doesn't seem to show the filament sheen effect.
