Disappointing Heat Lamp Replacement

After I put it to the test, I found this replacement heat lamp to be extremely disappointing. The amount of heat it generated for my reptiles and amphibians was far too low resulting in an unsuitable habitat. The only positive aspect is that it WAS easy to use... Unfortunately, the low heat output outweighed this small benefit..

Pros
  • Provides necessary heat for reptiles and amphibians for basking and digestion
Cons
  • May require frequent replacement compared to other heat sources

Beware of this Terrarium Heat Lamp

According to my experience this heat lamp has been nothing but a hassle .It takes a long time to warm up and doesn`t provide enough heat for my reptile's basking needs. The only good thing about it is the price, but you get what you pay for..

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Low heat output, slow warming up.

Continues to burn out on terrarium heat lamps and mats

I keep buying these as we have had issues with our temps since we moved. I bought one and it blew, put it in about 2 weeks later, bought another and the same thing happened! The 75s seem to work great. Or maybe I'm just expecting too much from 150W? It might just be me, but I really expected it to work for more than 2 weeks to a month.

Pros
  • 4 pack Zoo Med Repti Basking Spot Lamp, 150w
Cons
  • Crumpled
