I like it. I actually use it for moths. and the shielding is strong enough to hold the 150W ceramic radiant heater together with the cage bracket. Doesn't even bow. The instructions are quite detailed and I can appreciate the letters that will help you assemble the device. This item is a very good investment for any small reptile or bug that you wish to keep.

This is a great cage for my anole. I live in Florida and I saved Larry from my Yorkie mix who attacked him on our porch. He lost his eyes during the attack (poor fellow), but now he's a spoiled lizard living in luxury (and security). This cage is great because with plants and driftwood it looks like his private porch where he can relax carefree and still be outside.

The cage comes with all the parts and they are easy to assemble. The build isn't as rigid as I'd like, and I wish Zoo Med had provided parts for some of the key elements. I have 3 cages, one very large, one large and one small and I bought an extra cage to take apart for parts. The main disadvantage is the lack of hooks or brackets for hanging plants, drippers and other accessories. You will be given a simple cage and you will have to use your ingenuity to complete it and make it workable.

A friend started our own butterfly garden a few years ago and this cage is perfect for watching a caterpillar transform into a pupa and then a butterfly. It is large enough for cuttings of milkweed, dill, and other caterpillar hosts, as well as branches for caterpillars to attach their pupae to. I picked up the goods immediately upon arrival. My only criticism of the assembly of this cage is that there were a few mislabeled parts. A simple riddle to solve for a person with an average mindset. The cage itself is made of a typical mesh material. If I spent the $80 Petco is charging, I'd be in the black.
