My softshell turtle likes it but needs a good flush

Very fine soft tan sand. I was looking for fine sand to use in the aquatic environment for a Florida softshell turtle. Great for bathing hamsters :)

Like other users I bought this for my hamster to replace another sand I used to buy from another manufacturer that is no longer offered by Revain. It is light brown, almost slightly peachy in color. I took one of those simple plastic noodle pots and filled it halfway with this sand and put it in my Syrian's cage and he immediately accepted it. He loved digging in it and riding in it. It didn't stick to his fur at all and I noticed he kept it clean. Although he started going to the toilet in it.

BAD FOR REPTILES

Selling as reptile sand is WRONG. This will affect your pet, whatever it is. You may not have had this problem with lime sand, but you will have problems with this reptile sand. Even if you have kept them for many years, they can slowly build up in their intestinal tract. Do parents buy this for sandplay? This material sticks and sticks together like nothing happened, even when slightly moistened. Think of the mess you need to clean up. No fun. Not fun at all. Change to a heavier, more suitable
