We removed the caster wheels and had to put up a stand. keeps the wheel upright. My only gripe is that it's too vertical, if anything, so it's not hard to tip the bike over when it hits.

This item has been used. You can see someone trying to bolt it to their bike. If I wanted a used item, I would buy a used item. It came in a plain clear bag which should be my first clue that this is not a new item. I think it's very distasteful to sell something to someone who claims it's new and not new.

Definitely not impressed. My kid has a 16" bike and while it was "easy to set up" this stand was supposed to be 16" but the stand is definitely too long and her bike just tips over. I spent an hour installing it. So 16" footpegs will not fit on my 16" kids bike. I've tried different angles and feel like I've just wasted an hour of my life. I would definitely recommend that people are prepared that it will be too long for their child's bike despite being the right size.

I just bolted it on and the bike flipped over no matter what position it was in inches inches. This is because the arm didn't fly far enough off the bike (he held it too vertically). But I grabbed the bottom and pulled it up, flexing the strut and forcing my arm further away from the bike. It worked. The metal is pretty cheap and bends easily, but that's a plus.
