After only 1 hour boarding I had problems with this product. Firstly, no matter how hard I squeezed the guard to adjust it to the shape of the tail, after 15 minutes the ends began to separate from the board. I tried to put pressure on him but he always let up. Even if I try to break it by scratching its tail, it breaks free half the time. You may be luckier than me, but I would not recommend this product.

I really like the durability of the nose shields. I have them on 3 of my switchboards. They are very flexible and easily repeat the bends of the boards. They are very durable, able to withstand impact and easily maintain their integrity. Ideal when pitching your board for protection and non-slip durability. These bumpers help keep your longboard in good condition for longer, but they come with a few downsides. Eventually my son beat them to the point where they were no longer effective. The metal material in the bumpers started protruding from the rubber. Also, the bumpers didn't hold up well on his style longboard and had to be attached to the stern and trucks to keep them from slipping. Bought for my daughter's Landyachtz board. It was too long and went between the wheels and the board. Simply cut with metal scissors. On a pointed toe cruising board, the ends tend to pop out and definitely won't stay put when your foot applies force to them. It didn't come off completely and protected the nose of the board from many curb hits. For the second, I can try gluing something to the underside of the ends and somehow attaching it to the board so the ends don't pop out.

This protector is just what I needed to protect the front and back of my homemade "rocket" longboard. My deck is 1/2 inch thick and the protection adheres very well to the board. .
