I enjoy using Coin. It’s been six months since I’ve made a first deposit in Bitcoin Cash and Litecoins. So far I have no problems with it. The exchange Shapeshift seems legal and reliable. I keep everything here.
I’m aware there are a lot of currencies but I can’t recommend them all. I recommend you to control suspicious coins so you can avoid any legal prosecutions.
