it was established in 2016. Funded Aaron Davis and Dan. The purpose of creating this wallet is to ease the use of ethereum. It has great developer teams who are working hard to ensure that, users of MetaMask wallet are enjoying the wallet. It can be used to store RC 20, ethereum and other token.
Users need to have sum amount of ethereum on the wallet before transaction can take place. There are three transactions options available slow, avarage and fast it depends on user to choose anyone that is best suitable for the transaction. And sometimes, network can determine transactions fee.
To download MetaMask is free. It has three browser extensions which can be easily download on MetaMask website.
We can not categorically say MetaMask is anonymous. Although the wallet is anonymous but user we need a particular browser to use MetaMask app, and the browser do collect data as a result this Matamask is not totally anonymous.
About the the security. Some measures have been put in place to make the wallet secure. The wallet is built on hierarchical deterministic and during the set up there is 12 words seed that can be used to recover the wallet account incase if the account is lost.
Since this wallet has created approximately 4 years ago, it has not suffer any hack. The wallet is recommendable.
