This is amazing. We installed it on my 2008 Subaru Legacy Gt and it took about an hour. This thing makes your car sound so awesome! Just hearing the turbo made me love my car a million times more.

Makes my stock LGT sound like a monster from the inside. Whether there is extraneous noise, I can not say so far. As for the extra horsepower, I honestly can't say I feel a difference when there's 15 extra hp, the car has always been fast. But the filter comes with dynamometer tests, so I trust it. Sounds great and makes the car better. It's easy to install, but I asked someone to do it for me. Remove the box, insert the air inlet and you're done. You must disconnect and reconnect the battery for the computer to know that you installed something new. Otherwise the check engine light will come on and the battery will have to be disconnected. I feel a little more power coming down the freeway ramp and trying to overtake someone. Good deal for another 10 hp.

I've been using this air intake for about 1.5 years and it's a reliable product. It's relatively easy to clean, but it's disappointing that you have to remove the entire air intake (not just the filter element) to clean it. It's known to be one of the loudest intakes for the LGT, but that's why you buy it because the stock airbox works fine anyway. I drive a 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT. I figured there would be less assembly on my end for something this expensive. I pre-assembled the unit the night before installing it to look like the picture.
