Take control of your automatic transmission and shift it yourself to maximize torque and performance, or put it in drive for normal automatic operation. Detent style shifting mechanism provides positive shifts using a spring loaded tab for each gear, and it's cable operated for quick installation and accurate shifting. Features backup light switch, neutral safety switch, and lighted gear indicator. Includes black plastic T-Handle, flat aluminum stick, and 5' long shifter cable. Automatic shifters (except cables) are backed by the manufacturer with a limited lifetime warranty.

Returned Product - Powertrain & Transmission

I ordered this in December 2019 for a project car and only opened it on 3/21/20 when I looked at it I found the metal bracket that controls the fuse. bent headlights and broke the button on the switch. The broken part was in the bag it came in. Can anything be done to solve this problem?

Love that black handle

I have a 1976 Chevrolet Camaro. I used to have a B&M 80675 StarShifter automatic shifter. My mechanic at the time was all about the "manual" mode, but I never used it. One night the T-handle broke. So I looked for another manipulator. I didn't need manual mode and that shifter looked mean. I like the black handle on this thing. So yes. I love it.

Works perfectly! in Shifter

Easy to install, comes with so many adapters and extra brackets I can mount it on anything. The reverse/park lock works efficiently with little effort, unlike the ratchet switch I replaced. Very smooth and positive shifting. Works with 3 speed and OD transmissions and includes shift indicators for both. Neutral safety and backup switches are built in. Perhaps not the best novelty in Shifters & Parts

I received my switch in an unmarked box. When I opened the box I found that all parts were loose, unpackaged and damaged and I can tell that the switch has been used in the past. The switch had surface rust and fingerprints, as did the handle. There was what looked like a black RTV on the plastic cover that I was able to remove. I installed it anyway as it was the last thing I needed to get my LS swapped Jeep Grand Cherokee to drive on its own. It works and was easy to install. You will NOT…

The shifter looks good. After reading the instructions something did not seem.

Received quickly as always. Not installed yet. The shifter looks good. After reading the instructions something seemed wrong. I have a 1957 Chevy with a TH350. B&M's instructions and YouTube videos stated that the cable swivel went into the front or front hole of the shifter bracket that bolts to the transmission.
