No more problems with a stolen bike

Works great, easy to use/install. I live in a city with rampant bike theft and they give me peace of mind when my bike is locked out of sight.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some bugs

Highly recommended.

Simple and efficient German technology. You just have to make sure you're looking at everything from one side of the bike, and then block the bike so it's facing the rack.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Excellent product.: Tires and wheels

They are well made. Easy to install/remove. This seems to be the best deterrent from other brands on the market. And if you follow the recommended method of properly locking your bike, thieves will have to work REALLY hard to steal your wheels.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Back skewer broke after a month

Overall I was very happy with this product until the back skewer broke right around the threads. Luckily I didn't ride a bike. This is exactly one day before the 30 day warranty protection window so I'm hoping they will get back to me with either a replacement item or a refund. I previously gave a good rating, but if I don't get a response from the seller, this will be my updated rating for now.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Broke after 7 months - no customer service

After 7 months of use (1 month guarantee) Axle just broke (see picture). I just intentionally tightened it with a small wrench and only by hand, so I doubt I overtightened it. someone from Abus Mobile Security. They asked me to resend all receipts and photos and then stopped responding to emails (that was 8 weeks ago). So I don't think they care. Worked fine for 7 months but I find it a bit pricey considering you have to buy 2 a year. And I got much better customer service from some unnamed…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Safety

Compared to other lockable skewers like Pinhead or Pitlocks

Compared to other lockable skewers like Pinhead or Pitlocks I liked that they don't require a special key - special keys get lost and if you have multiple bikes or mismatched locks on the same bike (e.g. if you buy skewers first and then add a seatpost locknut) you will have to deal with multiple keys. All it takes is an 8mm open ended wrench already in my bike multi-tool. You can also easily buy additional keys for $5-10. I bought them mainly for the front wheel lock. I use a U-lock to lock…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
