It works! Fits hand tools

Age and arthritis have weakened my grip and it has become difficult for me to open everything from jars to pill boxes. After purchasing many products to solve this problem, SwitchGrip turned out to be the best of them all. It's worth the money, easy to use and works as advertised.

Pros
  • Hand tools
Cons
  • Available in black only

Nice versatile tool!

Good universal pliers (both sides). But for some tricky work, like trying to loosen a partially removed screw, it seems like the pliers can't really grab it. Probably not the right tool for the job (after the kickback worked), but again, standard pliers seem to work better here since the kickback only partially worked. However, I find it to be a good all-around "jump to" tool and it changes direction very quickly.

Pros
  • 2 different pliers in one tool. Flat nose, correct chin; for gripping, turning and shaping. Long nasal jaw; for tight spaces. Cuts up to 10 ga wire, cuts 12 ga and 16 ga wire.
Cons
  • Doubtful

Nice tool, my basic boat pliers

These are my go-to pliers for boat work where a lot of deck and cabin work involves either power or rigging. I also have a SwitchGrip Pro. The main difference is that the square-tipped jaws of the professional model are more like traditional pliers (with wire cutters), while this model is better suited for gripping bolts or other objects. Because this model has a cutter and a stripper on the side of the needle, it's a more versatile tool overall. The quality and fit of both models is "very…

Pros
  • Forged chrome nickel jaws. Precision machined teeth and cutting edges
Cons
  • Non-automatic

Good "goto " tool in hand tools

I really like this tool and it has always been my go-to tool. I hang it right outside my garage door next to the kitchen. This is my favorite tool when I need the features of this tool. I bought mine at a pit stop while traveling for about three dollars. I have one for each of the boys in the family. But as the years went by and my lock couldn't take it, I decided to buy another one. I waited two years because I didn't want to pay for a replacement. But I finally did. The new one, to my shame…

Pros
  • Spring loaded jaws for easy handling
Cons
  • I will write later
