Inaccurate in switches and relays

Installed in my 95 Civic and read it was heating up or overheating. After checking everything else, I replaced the sensor with one from Honda and it read correctly. It doesn't look like anyone else has had this issue so I was probably unlucky but keep that in mind

Inconsistency in switches and relays

At first I was happy I thought I would finally fix my temp sensor. Depending on the weather, the temperature needle rises quickly at temperatures above 80 degrees and one suspects that the engine is overheating. Measure that the coolant reads 120 degrees, the temperature needle is already pointing to the hot position. Switched to another brand and everything is back to normal.

Good part but it might not be your problem

I'm sure everything is ok but it didn't solve the problem. My car shows erratic temperatures ranging from just above normal to very hot (but never quite to the top), but when you open the hood the engine doesn't feel particularly hot and runs fine. I checked the radiator flow and even spent good money on a new water pump. Absolutely no effect.

This Temp. Send Unit Works

The temp sensor on my 1998 Honda Accord LX V6 Sedan pointed to the center when the key was ON even though the engine was cold; This leads to the fact that the cooling system fails and the engine overheats after a few kilometers of driving. This product fixed this problem and everything is back to normal. This gauge is made in Brazil and uses a 13mm wrench instead of a 12mm wrench on the OEM gauge.

High quality item but make sure it's what you really need.

Well designed part. The original transmitter on my 1999 TL broke so I tried replacing it with this one. After checking the sensor's cold and heat resistance according to the repair manual, I found that it is NOT compatible with the 1999 Acura TL. The resistance is slightly different than it should be. I ordered another one to make sure it was a fluke, but the dimensions stayed the same.

Radiator Fan Won't Start - Car Overheats

Two of these new units failed on two different 92-95 generation sedans with d15b7 engines and stock ECUs. On both machines, the radiator heater would not turn on when the engine was warm and reached the halfway mark and the 3/4 mark on the temperature gauge. As soon as I replaced them with a stock OEM sensor, the fan turned on at 2/3 of the temp sensor. I'm not saying they will never work, but if your radiator fan doesn't come on when the engine is warming up, I bet it has something to do with…
