    Some caveats. in additive manufacturing

    This extruder is generally well made and works very well considering a few things.1. If you are using an Ender 3 or Ender 3 Pro that is listed as compatible, this is not 100% correct. It will not snap into place when the left air connector is attached. It interferes with the Z-axis screw (in fact, you can't physically attach it afterwards). The hole where the filament enters remains quite large, which can lead to scratching the filament - not good. The solution is to attach another feature that

    Clone 2-Stage Extruder

    I've had this extruder for a few months now and it initially worked great after calibrating my E-Steps. Then after the first month I noticed that it had the same issue everyone was reporting online about the lack of a bearing or bushing causing the gear to bite into the lever and causing it to fail and eat the filament. I tried the solutions I found online, sanding down part of the lever and mechanism and adding some bronze washers to make it slide. It did not work. I was still having issues…

    Pass this on 3D printer extruder

    Edit 2: Completely stopped working and started returning. Not even half a spool of thread was enough. Same problem as others when chewing aluminum. A shoulder bolt or roller bearing inner sleeve is required on the second gear for reliable operation of this design. Edit: It's been less than a week and the aluminum shavings from the tensioner have already eaten into the underside of the arm. You'll know when to start, you'll hear a quick pop as the gear catches on the aluminum and breaks off a…
