Never thought I'd put a Bilstein on a pickup

Replaced an OEM Shox with a 2005 F150 with 140,000 miles. Firm, not hard ride. Boat tow 5000#. Very good off-boat handling but good stability when towed. Would buy again.

Perfect struts for shock absorbers, struts and suspension

These are the BEST struts you will need to replace. It has EXCELLENT ride on the bumps of a dirt road like a washboard. Don't jump around everywhere. These are the ones you are looking for. Easy installation.

Pros
  • Great for a small house

A big improvement over FORD OEM racks.

I installed these struts on my 2004 Ford F150 4x4 today and they are a lot better than the stock struts. They ensure a firmer, but not hard driving experience. The shots aren't as jerky and it holds the turns better. They don't bounce as much on dips and hits. I think they are worth the extra money.

Make sure you have an OE spring seat!

Great product but first make sure your car has original shock absorbers. The only way to get the lower spring seat you want is to first install a pair of Motor Craft uprights. You can hit the part with a hammer and it will come out instantly. If you have aftermarket racks, the seat is welded on and you cannot remove it.

  • Easy to use

The best big shocks in Shock, Strut and Suspension

These shocks were an incredible improvement over stock. My truck had 115,000 miles and needed to be replaced. Ride quality is not only better and smoother with new parts, but better than OEM. The truck is more balanced on rough terrain and more forgiving on the road. My father, who only drives a BMW, commented on how pleasant the drive was. I would recommend it to everyone.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
