MUST read battery fault reports

Seems to have the same fault as La Crosse chargers. (also have BC-1000) Only La Crosse reports this in their manual. A fully discharged battery will NOT charge (gives an error). he gains at least one trace charge - usually 5 minutes or less. Plug it back into the smart charger and you're good to go. Here are my results: 56 batteries, discharge cycle: 26 charges and 30 failures. This does not seem acceptable. I was expecting maybe a few batteries to be dead forever, but 30? After that first charge…

Seems to charge reliably with no false signs of a bad battery. I've only used the unload before load feature once and it worked for me. I use two sets of batteries, one set from 2020 and the other from c. 2010. Both Eneloop kits (excellent batteries). Based on a random observation I would say it seems to charge them fully compared…
