VERY LOUD - I LOVE IT

I connected a car horn to the car battery (to test). It's very noisy (I scared myself :). I plan on taking it to a mechanic for a professional install as I want my car to have both the stock and train horns with a button to switch from one to the other (instead of just replacing the factory horn with this one) . Otherwise it would be very easy to replace one with the other. I can't wait to use it on the freeway when people want to cut me off (during rush hour).

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not bad

Very disappointed!: Lighting and electricity

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present. He owns a panel van and has always wanted a horn. He installed it, he said it's not that bad to install. On first use it was great and he was very happy with it. Shortly afterwards the horn sounds. It had to build pressure before it could explode. Not too much, after that he only blew occasionally. Now 6 months later when it works it hisses and believe me it's a very annoying noise. I am so disappointed. I definitely regret this purchase.

A little hard to connect

I installed this on a 1994 Mazda b3000 because I didn't like the little beep. When I found the factory horn I only saw one 12v wire and the supercharger needs two. It took some experimentation and I ended up not using a relay. What I did was connect the original horn wire to the positive terminal on the supercharger, go to Home Depot and buy a wire to ground the other terminal to my car battery. It worked great and now when I honk the horn on the steering wheel, people get a big surprise…

It is so much fun! - But not enough air.

This is so much fun! In fact, the installation took quite a long time, but not because it was difficult. For weeks I would run around the house blowing air into a hose with my mouth, scaring the dogs. Then I had a fun idea of mounting it on my lawnmower, which the neighbors didn't like. Eventually I got to the point of putting it on my truck. I'm a bit dumb so the horn is perfect for my personality! The problem is that I had trouble putting the horn down for long periods of time as it seemed…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Super fun (from 2 years)

Bought new. In addition, the woman and child thought that the old production horn belonged to a VW Beetle. I have a 2019 Ram Rebel truck. I connected this to the existing horn wiring and used a relay. The schematic was definitely wrong for the relay. I can't remember which was correct, but I had a voltmeter and a spare battery and checked it. I had to cut and splice the wires to get the correct position. Works great now! After the first few uses, it got a little quieter, but still very loud…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Upgradable

Not a lot of good stuff

First of all it doesn't sound like a train whistle at all unless you are the little train you could be. Although it will be louder than your standard horn, I'd say it's on par with an old three-axle (small) dump truck, if anything. Directions are extremely limited and if you don't have the knowledge or knowledge on hand you will get lost. If you're looking for some extra sound and are interested in car electrics, I think it's great and installs pretty quickly (it all depends on where it fits in

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Empty

Loud and easy to use

Really cool train horn, it comes well packaged and looks very easy to install straight out of the box. It has two horns attached to the air hose that goes to the compressor. After that, the compressor is connected to the network and you have sound. Overall it's very easy to install and there are many different ways you can find it and install it yourself at home. If you don't want to disable your current horn like I did, I hooked it up to a push button switch. So one push of a button and you…

Quality product for the price but <150dB overkill

When it arrived I was a bit disappointed to see that the compressor was almost identical to the cheap compressors that are available in Harbor Freight kits were offered. at half price. I also noticed that the hose seems a little flimsy and cheap. But don't let the cover read the book for you. Or whatever it was. Overall, after about two weeks of use, I am very satisfied with the product for the price. The horn has a low and slightly low tone, but not so low that it is easily drowned out by…
