Less than expected.

Very small. 10 inches may refer to the outside of the widest part, but the actual part of the step isn't wide at all and looks even smaller on a full size truck. Too far back to be useful. Not worth buying.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Socket required

Footpegs for my new Dodge Ram

We bought these side pegs to give me a better seat in our new Dodge Ram 1500 (I'm short). They were fairly easy to mount on the truck, but the incline is too short and too far under the truck. We returned them as they didn't help me get into the truck. If they stick out about 5 inches or more, they would be fine.

good looks for 4x4 best spare parts

Nice steps, not so difficult to install, nice appearance, ideal for pallet trucks, but not recommended for non-pallet trucks because hanging too low. If you want something sticking out of the truck to get off, this isn't what you want. They're almost flush with the side of the truck, but it's easy to get into the truck with them.

so good. I am disabled with chronic pain

So far so good. I am disabled and have chronic pain. I bought this to help me get started with the Ram Promaster 3500. I had the dealer install it, which was expensive but necessary. You probably won't need a dealer to put them on for you, but I did. No regret. Update 5 months later > I see the bad reviews but I have to disagree. The crotch supports my weight - 255 pounds. The paint hasn't worn off yet. The crotch is wide enough for my foot but I am wearing sunglasses which is a large size…

Good solid steps - body

Good solid steps. Have them for a little over 3 weeks now. Others have complained that they don't stick out far enough, but personally I like it. They sit almost flush with the truck body, making them perfect for getting in without getting in the way of getting out. I hate using steps/nerf bars to get out. I kind of fall out of my truck and always get shinked at standard levels. I will not do this. One thing I would recommend is a small but powerful drill. Mine was too big to fit between the…

  • boring packaging
