Great deal and not a single problem!

Arrived on time. Aside from my original hubs being fully clamped, installation was straightforward. Precision fit and no more bearing noise or worry. Ordered no abs and heard lots of complaints about still incoming abs, mine was fine as ordered no abs and no complaints so far.

It was great, but no matter what you order, you will.

This was great but no matter what you order you get an ABS sensor with it. You can just unscrew it or cut it off if you unscrew a hole in it that will let all the dirt and debris in. I have mine though to have the handle plugged in, but I ordered a "no ABS" wheel bearing and got the ABS sensors.

4 months later it's still working fine

I installed it 4-5 months ago and no issues so far. The truck isn't used heavily but I like going over flat curbs on roundabouts and none of them slammed the same way :D. . Seems to be of good quality, I would recommend.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

You may need a tool to remove the ball joints, not a fork!

The sockets arrived earlier than expected which is good. Very well packaged, no damage. However, UTUBE's videos on how easily CV axles fall apart are misleading. I had to dismantle the complete steering knuckle and all ball joints. The RT CV AXEL page came out well. The LT side is super hard. The hubs fit perfectly, easy to install. Haven't ridden yet but a few miles, need the look. So far very happy with my purchase!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Slightly torn

One was fine the other was not

My driver side bearing was absolutely blown so I ordered this kit for my 2005 Dodge 1500. After replacing both front bearings and all four brake rotors and pads with all Detroit Axle parts, I could hear a creaking and bizarre rattle when braking. After 1,500 miles, I jack the truck up and spin the driver's side wheel to see what the heck is up with all that noise. Not only was it barely turning, but it sounded like a baseball card on bicycle spokes. Everything was fine on the passenger sideโ€ฆ

They seem fine

First of all they were packaged very well. It made a good first impression. The hubs and everything had a light film of oil (or similar) and no rust at all. I replaced the driver's side hub (this one roared) after about 2 hours from start to finish. Fits perfectly. The noise is gone, no more. I chose not to replace the passenger side as several comments suggested it was short lived (leaky seals, noise, etc.). That way I have leeway for which side comes out first. For the money, and since Iโ€ฆ

Works great but lots of rust after 6 months

The jury is still out. I replaced one of the two and it took a day and a half - I couldn't get the old one out. I even pulled out the knuckle and the animal inside with a sledgehammer, but it wouldn't budge. I ended up putting my small kettle on it and after hearing the oil boil it popped out with a few thumps. Because it took so long I could only do one. After 6 months I went to another. I couldn't tell which ones I had previously replaced. I finally figured it out, but "new" has a significant

Big. They have endured quite a bit of off-road driving since installation

I don't drive a pickup truck off-road, but the pickup has to travel through a lot of unpaved, rutted roads logging and deer camps. (Maybe that's why I needed new ones in the first place.) These special wheel hubs are just great. Most of them are "easy to install," which is code word for "a little smaller," and what happens is new camps get beaten to death. These Detroit axle hubs have such good tolerances that I had to disassemble the first one and be more careful cleaning the dirt from theโ€ฆ

Pros
