Too small, easy adjustment, it fit.

This was very easy to install. The only complaint I have is that it's too small for a First Alert fire extinguisher. I had to remove the cushions to fit. Once I made it, it fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Low Repairability

Works as it should.

Mount this under my seat in my 85ft Toyota pickup. I wanted it to ALWAYS be within reach and this mount helped with that. It's quite thin but holds it perfectly. No noise or vibration.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I don't have much to complain about, it's ok

Does not fit fire extinguisher

Absolutely NOT suitable for FE1A10GR (HOME1), although it says so on the box and in the description above. The strap is too short. Were the people who designed it high on anything? The photo shows how the metal strap reaches the clasp.

Pros
  • Datura πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Will not fit 2lb First Alert

Strap was too short to fit around extinguisher and neck too small to hold top. The latch is also MUCH too flimsy to support the weight of the extinguisher in the vehicle and it can bend and drop the extinguisher. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • No

Nothing goes with fire safety

Seems to go with everything. My existing block didn't fit so I went and bought the recommended size. Doesn't fit either. The strap is too small, the notch at the top is too small. I may have bought the wrong size, but again the description should make it clear what fits.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Clamp too small for First Alert Home1

According to the description, the bracket fits the First Alert Home1 fire extinguisher, but the clamp is too small. I took another reviewer's advice, removed the foam padding and had a hard time closing the clip, but it's so tight that if you hit it the metal clip opens very hard - a little scary! Good product if it corresponds to the description! If you have this model of extinguisher I would recommend sticking with the plastic bracket that came with it or looking for another brand that might…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Does not match product shown in description

See my photos. This bracket does not match the picture description. In the picture in the description there are two mounting holes running vertically at the center point of the bracket. These holes are not on the included bracket. Also note the difference in the position of the strap on the mount. It's just a completely different design. The contents of the box match the picture on the box received and it says it is mount 2, but I am assuming the mount has been redesigned. This is not at all…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
