Had to try this repair kit on my 88 tooth Matco ratchet as original kits are no longer sold. Gear wrench 3/8 set with 84 teeth fits perfectly. I'm very happy to have it working again.

My Gearwrench 3/8" flex head ratchet is my go for just about anything. But after 5+ years of use and abuse the internal gears started to slip. Glad to share with you To be able to report that this repair kit got my favorite gun working like new again.Highly recommend!

I saw a few other reviews that said this wrench would fit a Matco ratchet so thought I'd give it a try, it fits perfectly! My expensive tool that broke for over a year is now working again and I have enough parts left over, along with an extra pin and spring, to fix it a second time.

Worked great My old '67 feels better than the new '84 now. My kit was missing a base plate. Everything else was there. I received the 1/4 set at the same time and it was missing the brackets. I would give 3.5 stars if I could. The ratchet still works with my old worn base plate. I still recommend it, I hope this one lasts 6 years too.

I was having trouble with my trusty ratchet after it got wet in a heavy rain. I impregnated it with no. 40 displacement and ordered it. wd40 released it and it worked again. A few months later it died out completely. I installed this kit following the instructions that came with it. The old f/r lever refused to move.
