Good quality ratchet set

I only use it for housework, not professional. I keep them in the garage and after 3 years of use the chrome on the sockets still shines. No rust at all (despite being in a dry area). I recently bought it because of the pass-through feature, which allows long bolts to "pass" through the middle when tightening the bolts. The extension cord helps me get into a very tight spot under the sink. The only thing I don't like is that the plastic hinge of the box comes off very often. I can easily put…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great tool: Hand tools

You might not need this every day, but if you do need one of these you'll be glad you have it. As a shade tree mechanic I have used it to tighten a bolt on a shock absorber - if you are familiar with shock absorbers you know that there is a strut sticking out and it is difficult to hold the strut and tighten the nut efficiently. An unexpected use that made me love them even more was this: I took the spark plug connector off the engine and one of the connectors/wires got stuck in such a way that

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Updates available

I received my kit a few days ago and just got it today used to disassemble a mower. The flexibility of the ratchet alone makes up for the limited sockets. BUT IF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT MAXX ACCESS KIT (I HOPE I WRITE RIGHT) YOU CAN USE THESE BUSHINGS WITH THIS KIT! I PURCHASED THIS KIT IN THE HOPE THEY WILL WORK BECAUSE MY 3/8 DRIVE RATCHET WAS BROKEN IN MY MASTER KIT. Between the two sets, I removed any appropriate nuts/bolts that didn't require a punch to remove! Only criticism is the wish that…

Pros
  • Works great for me

My first and last gear wrench art.

Maybe used three times. The first two times I used it to check if the screw was tight. The reason I checked this was because I didn't have this tool at the time so I ordered it and checked when I received the item. The third time I really needed it for something different, but still related to cars. And before I start applying a little torque to tighten the bolt, the internals literally fall apart in front of me and the whole wrench falls apart. I buy a lot of tools from Amazon to get the best…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I will add later

A must-have for those who work in hard-to-reach places!

I used to think these GearRatchets were a publicity stunt, but now I'm convinced. After years of loosening with standard tools, I finally stumbled upon a screw that I couldn't unscrew with my many "custom" curved wrenches and short bits. This was the frontmost Ford 460 exhaust manifold bolt in the E350; not much space. I tried for a few hours, then finally got to Revain and looked around for tools. After getting the GearRatchet, I went and tried it out. I unscrewed the screw in 2 minutes. This…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
