Maybe not for everything

Won't work on plastic surface not thick enough if you have something thin don't waste time as it will melt and the metal connecting part will go straight on the other side.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

This is a fun fix! for welding machines

I fell while weeding and broke my head. The head contains a heavy 40V battery, so it needs a very constructive repair. I bought this gun and, with no experience or practice, put in a dozen twisting clamps that made the trimmer stronger than its original design. I think. I can't wait for something else to break!

Pros
  • welding systems
Cons
  • damaged

So far I have repaired a few plastic parts that are cracked or broken. The magnetic shovel that rolls to pick up nails broke at the joint with the handle and can be easily repaired, the old mega shovel had cracks and now has a longer service life. A plastic trash can will last a few more years. Isn't that what recycling is all about? As plastic ages, it tends to crack. With this device you can quickly restore and strengthen these places.

I've tried repairing several different parts over the years with different types of glue, resin, epoxy and most worked temporarily but only seemed to increase the thickness what that Adjusting the part complicated properly. Wow, it was lighter than me though and seemed to hold the pieces together very solidly and tightly within seconds. Just for a little extra strength I added a layer of flexible sealer over it when I was done and covered it with plastic. Looks and feels like a new OEM and I…

Great plastic repair tool

I bought an old UTV. It was in fair condition for its age, but the plastic fenders were cracked. I wanted to repair them before further damage. I took this tool to try and if it didn't work I would go with a regular plastic welder. It worked great to fix the wings. The first photo is a before photo. Photos 2 and 5 after. Photo 4 shows the back of the repair. I used lots of staples to make sure it stays put. Figure 3 shows one of the brackets glowing red. I was surprised that the sensors didn't…
