Taking one star off due to some manufacturing defects - the plastic doors were scratched so badly they looked used, one of the doors was crooked and wouldn't open or close properly The holes are drilled unevenly , and when we close the playset, one section doesn't line up exactly. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product. It's not like many years ago. Kid Kraft has to live up to their standards as there's no shortage of newer companies offering higher quality toys. I bought this set for my nephew over 10 years ago and have very fond memories of playing with it. Later, my firstborn loved to play with the set while he was with his cousins. Well after spending a whole day putting this fire station together I am delighted with the results. But assembly would be a lot easier if the instructions showed where the color coated screws are. It was necessary to twist 34 parts. There were black, green, red and blue screws that weren't even marked on the clear blister card with all the screws and the charts didn't tell you which colors to use.
