Faulty module negative side only -2.3VDC

The module I received is defective. Also, I didn't like the design, which forced the use of a center-tapped transformer secondary. Even if it was cheap, it still had to work. I'll never get back the time I wasted

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to tell

does what it says And is a linear alternative to switches

Depending on the circuit, linear regulators are sometimes required. The network has many solutions for pulsed modes but few linear ones. I needed a different voltage, but that's not a problem, I just replaced the regulators with suitable ones. Perfect solution.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • No

Low Negative Voltage

I bought this to power an oscillator circuit that requires +15V and -15V rails. While +Vcc remained regulated at +15.1 VDC, negative (measured from ground output to -Vcc output) remained at around -9.48 VDC with a maximum input voltage of 34 VAC (datasheet says maximum AC input voltage is 36 VAC is, I left 2 volts). for the buffer). The LM7915's input pin seemed to match the output pin. No further diagnosis was made. I bought it to save time, not waste it. Poor quality control (but I wasn't…

+/- 12V regulator for small DIY projects

Worked as expected using DC +/- input. I gave it 4 stars because the input filter capacitors are only 220uF which can result in excessive output ripple. If you're using the power supply for a small load (like a pair of op amps) you'll probably be fine. There is not enough space on the board for large capacitors, but they can be installed outside. Also, the heatsinks are very small, so pay attention to the power dissipation of the regulators. Note. I tested each branch independently with a 15…

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive

The output voltage is NOT regulated to 12VDC as stated!. I have a stable input voltage of 24VAC on both "AC" terminals and I get an output voltage of 16.4VDC across the + and - terminals. I need a stable 12VDC output to power the 12VDC security cameras from an old 24VAC CCTV system in my warehouse. The LM7812 is said to accept a maximum input voltage of 37 volts and deliver a stable output voltage of 12 VDC. Not this circuit. Should I connect anything to the GND pins of the input/output ports…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power
