Worth every penny! suitable for milling accessories

Wow, the little guy works. Amazing cutouts on my Chinese 6040! Thank you for ordering more here. At Kodiak I needed everything now. The refinery is worth the money

Pros
  • End mill
Cons
  • Small problems

Tried to mill 1/4 " 6061 they dulled fairly quickly and broke early

They are so fragile. Tried to mill 1/4" 6061 they dulled fairly quickly and broke early. After reading more, for aluminum it is better to use a single-edged end mill. If you don't want to mill too fast, I'm sure it would be great for wood projects.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • brittle

Very happy! Very very sharp milling cutter

I am new to CNC and have just built a small CNC milling machine. I really didn't know what to expect from these beats. These beats exceeded my expectations! I made 5 hours for Christmas presents and half a dozen other things. projects. These things show no signs of being even slightly deadened. Very happy! Very, very sharp beat!

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

good for money Made in the USA.

Kodak makes very good hobby tools and general practice products for professionals. It's not as pretty as their five flutes, but still good. Five flutes make the piece smoother and cleaner, but four is pretty standard and will do the job just fine. I noticed a certain brittleness in the carbide versions. So be sure to mount your material on the router first to ensure not only can you cut it cleanly, but you don't have vibrations that can ruin thinner parts.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
