The replacement was not easy as I had to crawl under the car (I am 70 years old). But once the old motor fails, it's an easy task. Works well. I recommend.

I installed this stepper motor on a 2000 Aerbus 2 speed RV and the step would only half close if I wasn't helping. There was no binding - the motor just isn't "high-torque" like the original.

I have a 1999 Double Step Bounder 28T, this motor was a direct replacement and installed in 20 minutes. I had to cut and splice the cable because my old module didn't have a quick connector. Easy installation and it works great

This unit was an exact replacement for the original engine. However, the control module is on its last legs; I have to "help” my feet with my foot. The new module will be my next purchase from this company as I am very happy with it so far.

I had trouble moving the stage the full distance after installing the new motor. After some research I found that I had to lubricate the step joints more often than before. Greased all hinges and footrests work like new.

The only problem was with Amazon, I couldn't match the old model number to the new model. I was able to find a new model number from another supplier but as they received the motor with a delay I bought it from Amazon using their model number at a much lower price.

I ordered this unit to replace my Kwikee Electric 35 stage series on my 2002 Damon Daybreak and it was the perfect replacement. I would recommend this to anyone who has a 10 tooth rear cog (most others on the Revain have 8 teeth). Look closely at the photos. I had to return my first purchase which other reviews said was appropriate.

There are 2 versions of this engine. The first one I ordered wasn't even close when it was supposed to be the same. The second was better, but still not perfect. I had to cut the connector from the input side and solder it directly to the wires from the engine bay. Now it works great. Steps older than 1999 will be pre-IMGL so order accordingly. Item received and dressed within an hour of receipt. Installed without mods. Before installing the engine, all moving parts must be lubricated. I used "Fluid Film" Revain #FLUIAS11. You can use other chain and cable lubes but I've been using this lube for years and it holds up really well in inclement weather.
