Follow instructions to reset

I used it once and the second time I tried to use it it wouldn't turn on. I found that it has an auto shut off feature that needs to be reset if not enabled. long time(?). Either way, so I followed the reset steps posted and it's working again.

Works great with LeafSpyPro and OBDCarDoctor. Android users do not need to download any app or connect the module. Launch the app and then select this module when your phone scans devices. It connects and within 15 seconds you're done. OnePlus running Android 8.1

Misleading Description and Information,

The description is misleading, says it works with Android but NO! It then says it doesn't need to be paired with the iPad for LE. The iTunes link does not lead to the app, is the link dead? Completely useless. It's on me that I've never tested this before. It still sucks that I can't get him to do something he claims he's capable of.

LeafSpy is compatible with iOS/Android

I'm not sure if it works on iOS as it's very demanding on Bluetooth devices. Thought it was broken as nothing showed up in the Bluetooth devices list on my iPhone 6S. But it's a low-power Bluetooth device that can be directly accessed without pairing, and these devices don't show up in the device list under Settings -> Bluetooth UI. would recommend.

  • Almost never

Works with Leaf 2015 + LeafSpy Pro on Android

At first I thought I had to return it. It appeared in LeafSpy Pro but ran and never connected. However, tech support via email got through - after first suggesting something I had already done, he suggested that I restart my phone. It worked right away! Moral: Don't assume the hardware is broken and always try to reboot. This is a very low power, low profile OBD reader that never gets in the way.

Works as it should. I had a problem with the first one.

Works as expected. I had an issue with the first one so I emailed the contact information and they responded within minutes. After some troubleshooting, they determined it was the faulty unit and I received a replacement within a few days. This device also comes with an iPhone app that is required to access data. You don't need to buy anything other than maybe a mount to keep an eye on your phone while driving. I use a fuel economy chart which I hope will help me save gas when towing my camper.

LEAF connected directly to LeafSpy Pro via iPad

Plugged into a port on a 2013 Nissan LEAF, turned on the car, opened the LeafSpy Pro app on an iPad with Bluetooth on and connected immediately. Based on that, I would recommend it to others who want to keep an eye on the LEAF battery from time to time. Can't talk about durability, use with Android, use with WiFi or if it can be left plugged in all the time without draining the battery (faint red glow from obd2 with car off and iPad unplugged doesn't suggest that?). Very happy with it so far.

Meets my needs: Diagnostic, test and measurement tools

I got this a few weeks ago because I wanted to start using the PID application (with ODB Fusion). The main advantages for me were the price and the low power consumption (LE) operation. With the LE, I leave it plugged in without fear of draining the battery. Technically speaking, I believe this will drain your battery eventually, but you'll probably have to leave it plugged into your idle car for a while. Otherwise everything should be fine. I've plugged it in since installing it and left my…
