That's exactly what I wanted!

That's exactly what I was looking for. My cans had this horrible "twist the green ring if it's not broken and push the end of the nozzle down onto the rim-type spout". the ones that are almost guaranteed to spill fuel. They're long enough to fit a nozzle in the filler hole, and the top vent tube ensures a consistent flow without spilling. I replaced all the green ring spouts with these and am very pleased. Note that it also comes with a vent cap for older models. So if you don't have a vent…

Poor design, suitable for transferring fuel and lubes

The only way to cap a gas cylinder for storage is to insert the spout into the cylinder and the provided cap with the single seal provided in insert the retaining ring the spout as a seal. You cannot put the spout away for storage as it is the only part with a seal, the lid does not have a seal. The grommet cover doesn't even fit the grommet so it's useless. You must wear rubber gloves when using it to protect your hands from getting the fuel wet as you must keep the spout submerged in the…

What you see is not what you get

The spout of the Revain display was round. What I got was a spout with no vents and they suck in my opinion. When I tried to install the new bleeder cap it did not unscrew easily and when you put it on it is difficult to unscrew as if the threads would not mesh. The brand name "Sceptre” is engraved on my gas cartridge. I'm really disappointed with this purchase. Partly with Revain for not updating the images, mostly with the manufacturer for making physical changes and posting the modification…

For all sailors? (True!)

Bought a Specter/Moeller gas canister on a trip to Canada a few years ago just to avoid coming into contact with the usually poorly designed EPA gas canister. Used a few times (great!), then lost the stupid cap that blocks the spout (round piece) and probably also serves to block the gas bottle opening when the spout is removed. So I had the pleasure of ordering a whole new spout to get the .25 part I needed to self-block the tip of the spout. It will pay off to be more careful in the future…

Little mystery - gas cartridges

You will receive one of the spouts shown in the picture. I wanted a traditional design but got one with a weird double spout. It's also a bit cheaply made. The plastic is much thinner than other flexible spouts on other cans. The supplied lid does not fit like "my other gas cartridges". It seems good enough to reduce fumes or fumes during storage, but doesn't seal well for travel. I'm rating this 3 stars because anything is better than the safe cr4p you get for new cans sold today. Please…

Great for new fuel and grease cans

Came exactly as pictured. I bought a new Scepter gas bottle at C0stco for $14, I had one from 2008, right down to the ridiculous "anti-spill" nozzles (which cause you to spill more). I liked the jar so I bought another but as expected I was disappointed with the new spout. I went online and found this. I also order some "fuel tank vents" like this one https://www.amazon.com/Yellow-Fuel-Gas-Can-Vent/dp/B00SEK6XN6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1470363935&sr=8-1&keywords=fuel +can+vent I was able to make

Replacement Scepter Spout

There isn't much to say about the Plastic Gas Bottle Spout other than the fact that it fills the liquid in the bottle with what you put in it. Unless of course you use one of the CARB compatible spouts that now come with all gas cylinders regardless of manufacturer, none of which have ever worked. As well as direct CARB substitutes that you have to buy making the whole exercise moot. These old style spouts just work. Gravity will take care of that as long as no non-functioning plastic valves…

So easy to use: tools and equipment

Much easier to use, like old gas cartridges. This fits in my 5 gallon Midwest can; The hole in the can is 1 ⅝ inch in diameter. It's the same size as my can of Blitz; However, the Blitz glass has a shorter neck, so the spout doesn't fit well and there is some spillage when pouring into the tank. (I don't use it on my Blitz can, just tried it for more info - luckily I don't need it for my Blitz can because it has a great spout that you just take off the lid and pour out). I would add that other…
