Great product, like all Mr Gasket screws

Unfortunately did not fit my project. I was recommended this bolt pattern for my '94 Wrangler flywheel (two flywheel bolts were removed when trying to use the originals). They are too long. It would be possible to shorten them, but I order original Mopar screws for them, just in case. However, the product is of high quality, just could not be used

Pros
  • Screws
Cons
  • Alles Klar

The bolts are fine, but they are 1/4 inch too long for a 1980 Jeep CJ.

bolts are ok but 1/4" too long for a 1980 Jeep CJ 258 I-6 flywheel. Could not use. The longer threads were on the inspection cover and too close to the cylinder block.

Pros
  • Features a special reduced profile hex head for extra clearance.
Cons
  • Expensive insurance.

Wrong in every way best in Bolts

These bolts are used to attach the flywheel to the crankshaft. I have a 74 Jeep CJ 5 that I am rebuilding and have decided to replace the factory flywheel bolts after removing the flywheel for grinding. The final torque specification is 100-110 ft-lbs, which is achieved by tightening the sample over three incremental passes. The heads of these bolts only accept about 70 ft-lb of torque before they begin to fail due to rounding. The screw heads are very thin to begin with, so there are actually…

Pros
  • Compatible with Pontiac Chrysler Hemis and AMC
Cons
  • Can't remember
