Description of Neiko 20600A Motorcycle Hardened Protector - Enhance Your Bike's Safety and Durability

CAR-TIRE LEVERS: Need some tire and wheel tools? The steel spoons in this tire-lever kit have curved tips that give you strong prying leverage for quick and simple removal of damaged truck, car, or motorcycle tires for easy self-repair. TIRE & WHEEL TOOLS: This 5-piece tire-changing kit has 3 tire spoons and 2 rim protectors for car and bike tires. Place the protectors on your tire rim and insert the levers above the protectors to leverage the rubber tire away from the rim. FIRM HANDLE GRIP: Each handle has a contoured rubber grip that helps prevent fatigue to your hands during prolonged use. When you need to change a flat tire, these car and motorcycle tire spoons can help get the job done. QUALITY MATERIALS: The rim protectors are constructed with a flexible polypropylene material that keeps your rims protected from damage, and the tire-spoon shafts have a polished chrome finish for smooth insertion into your tires. QUICK STORAGE: These tire-removal tools all fit inside an included brass-grommet hanging bag. You can easily transport them to and from your automotive jobs, and you can hang them from pegs in your workshop when they aren’t in use.

No "hook " in the handle

The metal spoon doesn't go very far into the handle, it goes about half an inch into the plastic. The first time I used them to change tires, I broke the handle. Tire scoops require a lot of leverage, but the handles can't be used to get that leverage because the scoop doesn't go more than half an inch into the tire to handle.

Works perfectly! for tools and equipment

These levers work as expected and make changing motorcycle tires very easy. Rubber first, and old and new. I use a tire warmer, you can put them outside in the sun. The key to removing the old tire after the bead breaks is to insert both sides of the tire into the center of the rim. All rims have a notch down the middle, once both edges are in the groove you can pry off one side. Use glass cleaner as a lubricant, it leaves no residue. Work on small sections at a time, don't rush. - A friend's…

Worked on a 15 " Michelin Commander II Honda 1983 Shadow VT750C

I've been paying the garage for tire repairs for the last 5 years, last week they said it was 3 weeks late. I've considered doing it myself I bought a tire changer and a motorcycle adapter then decided what the heck just try it with spoons I watched some videos it was easier than I thought it would be I put the old tire with some 13 "Taken from 40-year-old cheap spoons. Cut open an old plastic ice bucket to protect the rim (worked well). Then the mail sent these spoons and 4 Motion Pro 08-0546…

Great price, works great. Apply lube and inflate the tube slightly.

Works surprisingly well. When I first attempted to install an inner tube on the rear wheel of a 2004 Honda CRF50, I destroyed the inner tube by accidentally pinching it while replacing the tire. Due to an epiphany, before installing the next tube, I sprayed the rim and bead area of the WD40 tire. Once I inserted the tube into the tire, I inflated it slightly, after which the tire eventually became buttery soft. With WD40 covering the rim and tube, it was much easier to ensure the points of the…

Amazing device: worked great for my motorcycle tire removal job.

I removed the front and rear wheels from a Kawasaki 650 Versys wheel in about 30 minutes. There was a learning process along the way. I knew in advance that this would not be an easy task. I ripped open the tire bead using two 8" C clamps and small 2x4 squares. I used Windex to lubricate the tires so they slide off the edge of the rim when you push your arms. Rubber protectors perfectly protected the surface of the rim. Slower. Plan to take your time. The handling of the three levers is not…

Required to change a tire on a fat bike

I replaced the 26" x 4" fat tires on my e-bike with Kenda women's bead tires. After spending several hours trying to get the last bead over the edge of the rim, I gave up. Searched for Revain, found it and when it arrived it took me 2 minutes to put the bead on the rim. And you'll find similar tools sold individually, but my tires required 3. Put 2 on the edge of the bead and the 3rd as a lever. I've read other reviews complaining about the pens being cheap and cracked - I have a rubber coating
