Great trail shoe for fast movement

These shoes are awesome if you know what you are looking for. They're light, feel low and stable, and are pretty grippy. I found they fit true to size and hold up well. I have two pairs and will buy more when they wear out. If you're looking for a heavily cushioned shoe that has always felt less than grounded and reliable to me, then this isn't it. They are quite soft and flexible.

Pros
  • Super good and I love the color
Cons
  • I have a few of these and I really like them so I ordered them. Size has been disabled. The length was perfect but the sock was huge!

Developed for very narrow feet!

The toe is really narrow. I ordered my usual size in 2E. The length is a little long. This is a terribly thin material for a trail shoe. I would describe it as a minimalist shoe with an aggressive profile. I have a pair of NB road bike boots that are very different from these. I'm 11D in engineering. They might look flashy, but that's about it. I teach them to walk the dogs. Swing and miss NB.

Pros
  • These are rather tight-fitting shoes with firm soles. very long-lived walker. Too bad the color choices are so limited.
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with flat feet

Goretex protection and comfort.

THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE BLACK/LED COUPLE The Goretex label on them is no reason to reject them. For the first day, maybe even the first hour, I found myself almost ankle deep in a mud pit and these boots kept me dry and comfortable. A few weeks late, they still offer comfort and protection that surpasses any shoe I've ever owned. The only problem I have is changing to other soles, the factory insole is very straight both in width and height, so my heel doesn't always fit 100% in the socket…

Pros
  • We bought a men's size 8 in bright red... They're 1/2 too small. Returned for a better fit.
Cons
  • Limited color options

Really good shoes for trail running

Very good trail running shoes. Handled well on the slightly muddy trail I walked. Decent enough grip. Nice and easy, so I was able to develop a good pace in it. Would buy again if needed.

Pros
  • The best hiking shoes. Worth the money and the upper really protects your shoes from rocks.
Cons
  • Some users may find it difficult

Size different than Rubix

I bought a few pairs of Rubix from New Balance but this shoe doesn't fit. Too bad, really like NB products. Hopefully only once.

Pros
  • Everything is working well
Cons
  • May cause hotspots in certain areas

Fast and responsive trail running shoe

Great response, great grip, very fast shoe. Though not very cushioning but if you are looking for a durable high heel shoe then this is for you.

Pros
  • Sent my son to boot camp and he put her through the mill. He says they are perfect.
Cons
  • Not happy at all. The shoes are narrow despite being advertised as wide. I recommend ordering half a size up for a wider foot.

Light, comfortable but cheaply built

Bought it 2 months ago and haven't worn it that often. Light and strong enough. However, when I went to put them on today, the fabric on the back of the show, which is supposed to make the shoes easier to put on, was torn! ugh To be honest I am not happy with the reliability of the product.

Pros
  • Fresh out of the box and walked 20 miles through the woods. Felt fantastic from start to finish.
Cons
  • May not offer enough flexibility for uneven terrain.

Excellent running shoes, the best in my rating

I actually bought them to walk the Camino de Santiago. I used to run a lot of cross country and wasn't sure what it would be like for easy walking. Was I pleasantly surprised! Lightweight and durable, I've had no issues. I will also wear them for future light hikes.

Pros
  • i like shoes This is the second pair
Cons
  • Limited grip on wet surfaces

Terrible joke? in my rating

This was my fifth or sixth pair of New Balance shoes. I bought these because of the workmanship, quality and fit. Well, this couple was a joke. Written broadly at first, just in a different universe. Simple or at best narrower. The first time I put them on with socks, the insoles came out like they never stuck. Waste of over $100. I will look for a new brand. Gave them to charity.

Pros
  • I bought them for my 8 year old son who doesn't like shoes. Not only do they fit and look great, they've lasted so long!
Cons
  • May not be breathable enough for hot weather

Try a new style of shoe

True to size, the extra support on the tongue of the shoe only allows certain socks to be worn. I thought about going back but decided to give it a try and the fit from arch to toe is growing on me, it's a different style than what I usually buy.

Pros
  • Loves the feel and the comfort
Cons
  • I can't even put my foot in the shoe.

Great shoes: my review

I get a lot of compliments on these shoes when I wear them, the only problem is having them in stock for my big fat feet. They are comfortable, offer excellent grip on various surfaces, are lightweight and stylish.

Pros
  • They turn out half a size smaller. I use them for softball, great traction weighs absolutely nothing, love them.
Cons
  • Some users may find the shoe stiff.

Good shoes my rating

I love the fit of the shoe and the built in tongue and it feels great when running. I'm not sure how long running shoes should last, but I can run about 6 months or 200-250 miles without shoes. Due to my running gate, the external healing wears off during this time. I should probably retire the shoe after about 150 miles due to worn healing. -- I've had this model for two years, this is the third pair I've bought.

Pros
  • fits
Cons
  • May cause blisters due to lack of padding in certain areas.

Revainrating 1 out of 5

hard upper inserts interfere with bending/

Those black lace inserts are probably meant to add strength, but in real life they just make extra hard creases that irritate your arch (

Pros
  • The durable construction makes these shoes ideal for trail running.
Cons
  • May cause discomfort in people with neuromas or other foot conditions.

Great shoes!: my rating

I replaced my Solomons with these and wish I had done it sooner. They are lighter, breathe better and I feel better. That's my feedback!

Pros
  • Great shoes for the price. The only thing I don't like is the tongue, which sometimes slips under the laces.
Cons
  • too small with very narrow insole.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good shoes. I needed a wider pair for walking.

I recently checked my leg on an old scale. Told me I'm 11 with a width D. However, I've always felt more comfortable in wider shoes. For my taste, they are a bit narrow at the front. I drive almost exclusively on gravel roads. That's ALMOST enough protection for me. I get a little unexpected mountain pressure from time to time, but not enough to bother me. They're very comfortable when not running and look pretty decent once you get used to the super hot color. Overall I give them a good rating

Pros
  • The shoe has an elegant and modern look, which makes it suitable for use in other sporting or leisure contexts.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate toe protection.

Great shoes but need more support

I've been running in the NB 510 trail running shoes for the past 10 years and have decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something different. corresponds to the size. But it offers significantly less cushioning than the 510s. Now I wear them for hiking and biking, but for running I've reverted to the 510s.

Pros
  • The upper is made of breathable materials that keep feet cool and dry on long runs.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with back problems

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The width 2E corresponds to the size of normal shoes. Beware.

After speaking to NB support, who confirmed that the 2E width would fit the same as my 880s, I decided to buy these shoes. Unfortunately these shoes are too narrow. If you have wide feet, stay away from them.

Pros
  • Great shoes. Excellent price. A real highlight.
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient Arch support for some users.

Fell apart after only three months.

Too bad because I like these shoes but they definitely didn't last. My last pair of sneakers lasted many years. The sole on one of them separates from the sole of the boot. I can try to glue it but I shouldn't have this problem after such a short time. Note that I have not worn them in inclement weather. They never got wet. I only go to them. I do not run. This is my first bad experience with New Balance shoes.

Pros
  • The midsole provides cushioning and support while minimizing impact on the feet and joints.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with metatarsalgia

Birthday present: my review

Bought a pair of these shoes for my grandson last summer. When it was his birthday this fall, he asked for the same shoes, just one size bigger. He is very happy with them.

Pros
  • Fits, feels as expected
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with bones
