One of the almost certain disappointments in data cabling

Like many people who have had to terminate RJ 45 jacks over the years, you make the mistake of not knowing until you go down stairs, ceilings or other areas just spotting bad light, or eyes helped you make a wiring mistake. Of course, you still need to be careful, but you can push the conductors right through the connector, clearly control the order, and cut off the waste. The ONLY feeling I would give this type of connector is that it's a little difficult to cut off the waste and plug in the…

Thumbs up! - Cables and Interconnects

Put an end to it for a long time, mostly home network, patch cords etc. Did my first one in 15 minutes! The boy was upset. Once I got used to it, the ending only lasted 20-30 seconds. Give yourself at least 3 inches of stripped wire to work with and connect one wire at a time. There is a connector for a cable, but it is much shorter than the standard connector Reason -1 star, the packaging says the quantity 100. Well, I only have 93. I understand that only 7 connectors are missing, but you pay…

One Less Data Wiring Frustration

As with many people who have had to terminate RJ 45s over the years, it can be frustrating to make a mistake and not figure it out until you come down the stairs, ceiling or some other place to find out that only poor lighting or eyesight have helped you in the event of a wiring error. Of course, you still need to be careful, but you can push the conductors right through the connector, clearly control the order, and cut off the waste. The ONLY feeling I would give this type of connector is that

Does not work well with all devices

I've been doing network cabling for over ten years and I always buy connectors in bulk. I decided to try them out thinking they might save me time but I was wrong. The problem is that different manufacturers build their hardware a little differently, so sometimes they just work and sometimes you have to put in extra effort to make them work properly. As you can see from the top connector, it works fine with an old Netgear FS105 or WEme WM-2516 switch, but they won't work with all hardware as…
