Warped after 11,000 miles

I have a 2008 Tundra and installed it 11,000 ago. The front rotors are already warped, as are other people testing this product. I bought these for family security to see if OEM might be a better option as they lasted 85k. Perforated/slotted rotors for maximum stopping power? I do not think so. Unfortunately, I previously bought them for my wife's 2015 Yukon. I don't think I will use them.

Installed 6/2019 - Brake Kits

Installed these discs and pads about 2 weeks ago so far so good. Installation was easy if you've changed pads and rotors before, nothing out of the ordinary. The supplied clamps are fine, some had to be shortened a bit as they made contact with the rotor after fitting into the calipers. All other materials are top. The pads and rotors appear to be very well made/finished. Braking direction for new pads is simple. The initial bite is small (which I think is good for everyday driving) but if you…

Slight installation problems

Everything is fine for this price. Installed brakes/discs on the Tundra in 2012. Everything was going well until the road test. Softer, assuming the e-brake was set too tight or the inside diameter of the e-brake seat was not round, I removed the rotors and found that there was a sizing issue and the rotor was actually rubbing against the dust cover on the hub. If it hadn't been modified it would have a hole in the dust cover and would eventually stop grinding. I found the solution in removing…

BAD - Rear Rims Still Overlapping

Toyota Tundra 2014. Companies still make rims that overlap rear dusters on Tundras. These shields have been in service since 2007. How can companies not know this when producing their parts? I did all the work and went to bed in pads and it sounds like the engine is running without engine oil. This is the most expensive one click product on Amazon and they still make rear rotors that rub! Now I have to AGAIN disassemble the wheels, calipers and rotors to try and move the dust cover away from…

Great brakes for the price.

After reading TONS of conflicting reviews I decided to give it a try. Although the packaging clearly says "Made in China", I was impressed with the machining and balancing of the rotors. The pads are a very good mix that makes braking strong. The only issue I had was with one of the front pads. With black paint, it was too narrow to fit in the caliper. This was the case even when the caliper was smooth at pad contact. I smoothed out the pads where they fit in the caliper and they fit perfectly.

  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Crumpled

Good value for money, performance could be better.

They were installed in my wife's 2014 Toyota Sequoia. The rotors are high quality and look great! Prior to installation I was careful not to use brake cleaner and instead used a plain green to wash away oil and grinding residue to avoid stripping the anti-corrosion coating. Contrary to other reviews I had no issues with the rear discs and drum parking brake and all discs were easy to install. These pads are definitely low-dust, which I like, but they're not as aggressive as I'd like. Expect a…

Disappointed with design and packaging

2012 Toyota Tundra TRD Rock Warrior I'm hesitating between two and three stars so I'll give them three for now. Driven it about 50 miles after a slight slump. Braking performance seems good. The problem with fittings and fittings. First, not all hardware is included. Some equipment included. There are even some parts that clearly do not belong to this truck. The front shoe pins and front caliper bolts are missing and will need to be replaced on this truck. When landing in front, everything…

Missing parts, installation issues, poor braking performance

Kit includes rear drums, rear pads and rear clamps only. The kit was missing front rotors, pads and all front hardware. Called Revain and they sent a replacement front wheel. Installed the rear rotors and had installation issues as explained by others here with the inside edge of the rotors making contact with the hub plate on the truck. Some have fixed this by turning the rotors on a lathe and removing a millimeter or two from the edge of the rotor. Some used a punch and hammer and knocked out
